“Inheritor’s of The Abrahamic Covenant, Being Made Right with God!”
In our continuing sermon series, “Lessons with My Legacy, with God,” we examined today, how “Our God Answers by Fire!” (Genesis 15:1-18 NLT)
Afterwards, invitations were extended to all, who wish to attend, THE PASTOR’s STUDY. This is an ongoing forum, where guest can read the writings of the Apostle Paul, from Romans 4:8-16. As Dr. C. Lee Hagwood Sr., give exposition of how those who are inheritors of the Abrahamic Covenant, are made righteous with God!
Unfortunately, there has been so much misunderstandings, about how an individual becomes righteous or made in right stand with God, our Heavenly Father?
Individuals have been made to think and believe a wide variety of attitudes and behaviors, that typical have been taught and practiced within the local and denominational churches.
Coincidentally, this topic corresponds to an article that I written, and will be published by The Worker, in January 2021. Which is an educational and devotional quarter of the Progressive National Baptist Convention.
My assignment was to write about “The Holy Trinity,” in context of the need of unity in the Body of Christ.
One of the main reasons, why there is a division between Protestants who believer very differently, in regards of the baptism of new believers.
The oldest of the sects, have maintained the practice that is prescribed according to Matthew 28:18-20. These were the first commands, to be given by Jesus Christ, on a mountain just prior to His ascension to heaven.
The newest of the sects, advocate that new converts are to be baptized, in the name of “Jesus Only.” Which the Apostle Peter is preaching specifically, to the local Jews, who had Jesus unjustly murdered.
What must occur, is to have opened minded pastors and theologians on both sides to have an exhaustive New Testament bible study on the subject.
